RAPID RESPONSE
Rapid Response is Workforce Solution’s team approach to business layoffs,
downsizing, restructuring or closure. We can help employees make an effective
transition by positioning the team onsite before the layoff or other action
occurs.
We guarantee confidentiality, better employee morale and coordination with
other outplacement services you might provide. We also offer information
about possible alternatives to layoff.
How It Works:
- An initial on-site meeting is scheduled with our team and your team (management
and labor union if applicable) to discuss the specific services needed.
- Details such as the types of services to be offered, dates, times and
locations for the services that are offered and the method in which workers
access services (on the clock, shifts, production schedules).
- A group orientation meeting is held for affected workers to inform them
of the services to be provided.

securing new jobs

Affected Workers Will Also Receive:
- Tips on filing for Unemployment Benefits (UI)

to received unemployment
- Overview of Career Center services

Briefing on potential re-training opportunities – may qualify for
scholarship assistance (Workforce Investment Act funds) or Trade Adjustment
Assistance.
