
Ancillary Services Request for Proposals
The Tarrant County Workforce Development Board (d.b.a. Workforce Solutions for Tarrant County) is seeking the services of multiple, qualified organizations to provide services to residents of Tarrant County who are receiving Temporary Assistance for Needy Family (TANF) benefits, Food Stamp benefits, or who qualify for the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) Program or Project RIO (Re-integration of ex-offenders). The services sought are expected to compliment, not duplicate, the services provided to jobseekers through the Tarrant County Workforce Centers.
Funds projected to be available for the performance of services for the first year of awarded contracts are estimated to be less than $1,000,000. The awarded contract will be for a 12-month time period (October 1, 2010 – September 30, 2011) with the Board reserving the right to extend the contract for up to two (2) additional years, pending a review, successful performance of the contract, and availability of funding.
A Bidder’s Conference will be held on Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden Center, Camellia Room, 3220 Botanical Garden Blvd., Ft. Worth, TX 76107. The deadline to submit proposals is 3:00 p.m. CST on Friday, June 25, 2010. Proposals will be submitted to: Ms. Judy McDonald, Executive Director, Tarrant County Workforce Development Board, 1320 S. University Drive, Suite 600, Fort Worth, Texas 76107.
